battery drainer!!!

Is there something I don’t know, or have you encountered this too? It seemed everyday my grandson’s iPad would drain completely, so I thought it needed a new battery. Then for days it wouldn’t have that problem. I have all of his apps on my iPad but mine never drains like that. So I compared his apps to mine, found this app on his iPad & not mine but didn’t think much of it. Then one day I found out what was going on. This particular night he was playing this app. When my grandson’s time is up on the iPad, he puts the iPad on the bookshelf. When I came back into the room to check on him some 45 minutes later I saw this app still playing. I checked the iPads auto-lock settings & they were set to 2 minutes. This app seems to override the auto-lock feature in the iPad settings & the iPad is dead the next day because it never shut off. I mean all his other apps lock the screen if he doesn’t touch the iPad for 2 minutes.

Lego Ninjago Devs- fix this please. I am doing my duty to make sure this app is shut off after his time is up but I shouldn’t have to.
